Daily Announcements
Please reserve the evening of January 14 for a presentation on "Cyber Bullying and Online Safety for Kids," scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Hesston High School auditorium. All community members are invited to hear Mr. Kevin Honeycutt, Instructional Technology Specialist, share relevant information concerning Internet safety and the well-being of families.
The mission of public education in the community of Hesston is to ensure that all our students 1) reach high district standards; 2) apply skills and knowledge to work through complex, real-life situations; 3) act in responsible ways; and 4) function effectively both with others and independently. Students, teachers, administrators, parents, community members, and support staff are all actively involved in working to achieve this mission.

From the Superintendent
I am so proud to be a part of the Hesston School District. The staff of the Hesston School District is committed to providing a superb educational opportunity for the sons and daughters of our community. It is our hope that we can help them develop strong roots in the community and in life so that when the winds of life prove tough, they will stand firm on strong principles that they will develop here, in the home, and in the community. It is also our goal to give our students wings to fly toward their goals and dreams, confident in the knowledge and skills that they will develop in the Hesston School District. Thank you for your support of the school district as we strive to serve your children. Have a wonderful year! Steve Woolf
