FLU PREVENTION RECOMMENDATIONS:
-Practice good hand washing: wash often with soap and water, especially after coughing/sneezing. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. If no tissue is available, use your elbow . . .NOT your hands!
- Do not share drinking glasses or cups, eating utensils, etc. with others.
- Stay home if you are sick. We ask that your child be fever free for 24 hours (without medication) before returning to school.
- Get your family vaccinated for the seasonal flu and H1N1 flu when vaccines are available.
