Over the past several years, USD 460 and the Board of Education have organized its list of priorities through a format called the District Priorities Document. District priorities are organized by Curriculum and Instruction, Personnel, Student Opportunities, Operations, and Capital Outlay.
Additionally, we specify short-term and long-range goals associated with each of the above categories. Most years, we are able to achieve our short-term goals within the fiscal year and long-range goals then often move to short-term goals for the subsequent year.
We encourage our patrons to visit our district priorities webpage. You can view the current year's document along with the past 5 year's priorities. We typically cross each item off the list when they are purchased or completed.
