USD 460 Enrollment Day - July 30
Our official enrollment day is Friday, July 30 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at Hesston Elementary School (note the location change from HHS).
New families to the district are invited to come from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, and returning families from 12:00 to 7:00 pm. We ask families to limit the number of people from the household coming to the elementary school for enrollment.
The first station at enrollment will be transportation, and we ask everyone who may need school bus services to stop at this table. Everyone will then stop at the Home Economic Survey station, and we ask all families to complete the Home Economic Survey, which is a new form this year included in the enrollment packet. This form is very important for our school district, as it determines a significant portion of school funding and could provide benefits to qualifying families, such as reduced textbook fees. Please take just a moment to complete this survey and turn it in at the Home Economic Survey station, which will be located outside the elementary school library.
We will station elementary school enrollment in the 1-2 commons, middle school enrollment in the 3-4 commons, and high school enrollment in the cafeteria. After visiting the Home Economic Survey station, you may proceed to one of those locations to enroll your children.
Additionally, our H.El.P organization will be present in the 1-2 commons, the HMS PTO will be in the 3-4 commons, and the Swather Power Club will be located just off the main entrance when you arrive at HES.
